Job Description

Round&about Magazine has been publishing for some 16 years now reaching over 187,000 homes every month and is the leading regional door-to-door magazine covering Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Surrey. We are seeking an enthusiastic sales person to join our expanding dynamic sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising revenues by building their own client base and dealing with an existing database of clients and leads. You will ultimately become responsible for a region and charged with developing the business within that area. You will be required to interface sensitively with all areas of the business including production, editorial and accounting teams.  


Responsibilities:


- Secure new business opportunities and achieve the monthly revenue target set by the Sales Manager
- Account manage, maintain and develop an existing client base in order to achieve revenue in line with expectations set
  by your Sales Manager
- Generate revenue for the core group editions through multi-region sales solutions
- Achieve agreed levels of productivity eg. phone calls, meetings
- Building strong relationships with key clients  
 

Job Requirements

- Sales experience background with advertising experience is a distinct advantage
- Experience in face to face sales preferable
- Proven track record in working to targets
- Pro-active attitude with a proven ability to work to a good standard with a high degree of self-motivation
- Self-motivated & personable
- The ability to work well both individually and as part of a team.- Solid communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Full clean driving license
