We are an established IT Managed Service Provider. As the virtual IT Department for small to medium sized clients we supply full network solutions and day-to-day service desk support for around 1000 users. We need a well-motivated Business Development Executive to help us win new clients.
The candidate
Educated to degree standard.
Self-starter, energetic and confident.
A track record of success in sales.
An ability to master complicated subjects and explain them in a non-technical way is required.
No technical IT skills required – all necessary product and service training will be provided.
Our ideal candidate will have several years of sales experience, not necessarily in IT. They will be a resilient self-starter able to work in a small business.
The role
We intend to build a sales team that will be instrumental in winning new clients. Our first step in this process is to recruit a Business Development Executive. They will deliver an increased level of activity and success in sales. The sales role is currently the responsibility of the Managing Director. Your job will be to take responsibility for the entire sales process.

Within the company you will have the support of the Managing Director and Marketing Executive, a substantial marketing budget, and an outsourced telemarketing team. You will also have pre-sales technical support from our technical account managers.
Salary
Base salary will be £20,000 - £25,000 per annum. There will be a commission structure based on the value of recurring income won. You should be able to achieve earnings of £50-60,000 with no upper limit.
