Job Description

Dazbus are currently looking to recruit a Minibus Driver within the Oxfordshire area, due to client demand. This is a self-employed position, which initially will be on an ad hoc basis, i.e. as and when required. However, there is the potential for ongoing work for the right candidate. Duties to include: driving a minibus with 16 passenger seats, keeping in contact with clients and the office, handling cash and cheques, keeping the minibus clean and tidy, and acting as the face of Dazbus - somebody that our clients will get to know, like and trust.

Job Requirements

You must hold a D or D1 category licence, with the code 101 removed (essential). You will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, and have the ability to communicate clearly, politely and in a professional manner. You will need to be available to work at weekends. You must be well presented, punctual and reliable. It is essential that you are able to think quickly on your feet. The successful candidate will have a positive outlook on life, with a strong work ethic. You will be a problem-solver, and be able to demonstrate a good geographical knowledge of Oxfordshire. We are looking for someone who is friendly, enthusiastic and good with people. A clean licence is preferred, but will consider up to a maximum of 6 points.
